If you’re reading this, chances are you’re in one of two camps…

You’re a beekeeper who wants to find a good quality bee suit. Or, you have a wasp or yellow jacket problem, and you need something to protect you while you remove them.

Either way, there are four things your bee suit will need to keep you safe.

Let’s start at the beginning.

1. A beekeeping hat + veil

Let’s face it.

Taking a sting to the hand or arm isn’t terrible for most people.

But the face?

Not so much.

That’s why you always want to protect your face and neck. Some bee suits, like the ones from Natural Apiary or Oz Armour, don’t need a hat for extra protection. That’s because the veil is sturdy and doesn’t mash against your face, which can put you at risk of being stung.

Check on your hives to ensure things are going well
Give your bees access to a safe bee waterer
Plant and maintain the best flowers for bees
Use appropriate pest control to protect your hives
